Location of production - The vineyard is located in the municipality of Nizza Monferrato. Province of Asti, Italy. Owned vineyard “ Cascina Boschetto Vecchio “. Visual - Bright and elegant ruby red.
Nose - Complex and intense notes of fresh violet and red roses, with ample aromas of cherry, ripe raspberries and blackberries. Accented by hint of vanilla, light tobacco and dark chocolate. Finish in a subtle delicate oak.
Taste - Harmonious elegance medium to full-bodied wine, dry and smooth. A gorgeous warm and rounded wine, with pleasant acidity along of polished tannins, a very pleasant and persistent finish, well balanced. This is the wine which has preserved our family’s winemaking secret traditions since 1946.
Vinification - The grapes are hand picked and strictly selected to begin the traditional vinification process, when the fermentations have finished, the wine is poured poured into French oak barrels, allowing it to age slowly and develop it’s special characteristics over the next 18 months. Then the wine is bottled, with individual oversight and resting for another 6 months at least before going to market.
Serving Temperature: 18-20 °C / 64-68 °F.
