Location of production - The vineyards are located in the municipality Aspres” means poor, arid in Catalan. This territory is located to the south of the Eastern Pyrenees and spreads its vines on the first foothills of Mont Canigou. Thuir, capital of Aspres, marks the entrance to this fabulous vineyard. Made up of plateaus and hills between 150 and 300 meters above sea level, our terroir allows the production of great wines thanks to the coolness of its nights and its exposure to the winds.
Visual -Deep color with ruby nuances.
Nose -This wine is distinguished by its aromas of over-ripe red fruits and sweet spices Taste -Medium to full bodied and dry. Aromas of black cherry and blackberry mingle with peppery notes. The tannins are present and ensure this elegant wine has excellent aging potential
Vinification - The traditional winemaking process. Syrah in pre-fermentation maceration, carignan in carbonic maceration, Final blending after fermentation of the grape varieties for optimum aromatic balance. Breeding: Tanks reserved for the Château and bottled for maturation. Storage in our air-conditioned cellars.
Serving Temperature: 16-18°C
