Location of production - This château is located to the south of St Julien on a plot of high land, the ‘motte’, and has been owned by the Cognac H Mounier Group since 2009.
Visual - Beautiful bright ruby colour.
Nose - Lovely complex aromas with perfectly ripe red and black fruit hints.
Taste - Dry, Full bodied, fruity and greedy, everything is gathered to provide an accessible discovery but with chewiness, effective and crisp matter. The mid-palate is fruity and round thanks to the Merlot. The Petit Verdot brings a nice finish to the wine.
Vinification - Traditional winemaking process, In the cellar as in the vineyard, constant observation is the rule, there is no systematized management, but a search for adaptation to the personality of each vintage. Winemaking is carried out with the objective of maximizing the footprint of the terroir and maintaining quality as constant as possible. aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, a quarter of which are renewed each year.
