Location of production - Vineyards are located in the communes of Nizza Monferrato and Castelnuovo Calcea, in the province of Asti. Italy.
Visual - Brigth and tenuous ruby-red, heading to rosé with orange reflections Nose -Intense with a distinctive pleasing aroma of geranium with intense notes of raspberry and red berries and herbs, followed by spices notes of black pepper and dried fruit.
Taste - Medium bodied, fresh and dry, with pleasant acidity through a consistent tannic, going with a rich and inviting texture, with a great mineral balance by long persistence in the mouth mingled with a sophisticated fruitiness finish.
Vinification - The traditional winemaking process, after a careful harvest due the grape’s character itself. The grape’s name comes from the local dialect for grignole, which means seeds. These seeds can cause a serious problem in the vinification process. The grapes need to be pressed very softly so the bitter seeds do not break. they are very gently pressed to continue with a short maceration, after the juice is fermented in stainless steel vats under temperature control system, the fermentation is completed the wine is carried out, this process is released after 6 months, then the wine is ready to be bottled and left resting for a period of time no less than 6 months before going to the market. Vegan friendly. Serving Temperature: 15-18 °C / 59-64°F.
